Welcome to Brentwood Jikishin Ju Jitsu
Welcome all to the relaunch of the website for Brentwood Jikishin Ju Jitsu

Jikishi Ju Jitsu is open to anyone 5 years of age and over.  We have two classes, one for Juniors (5-16) and one for Seniors (16-65).  Classes are mixed and we have males and females of all ages at both clubs. Your first lesson is free so why not come along and see if you like this fun informal martial art.

Ju Jitsu will not only teach you self defence, but will also increase your confidence and fitness.  The techniques taught under our syllabus can easily be utilised in modern day living and allow you to feel confident in defending yourself against a variety of attacks.

Ju Jitsu is based on unarmed self-defence.  You will learn to defend yourself against strikes, strangles, kicks and many more attacks.  Ju Jitsu techniques rely heavily on leverage, so you don't have to be strong to throw or incapacitate someone.

Ju Jitsu is an ancient martial art used by the Samurai warriors of Japan. The art itself consists of punches, kicks, throws, ground-fighting (wrestling), and weapons.
